Learning and development opportunities within a global healthcare company Senior Electrical Maintenance Technician **Category:** Engineering \& Technical **Location:**Montes Claros, Minas Gerais, BR . **Senior Electrical Maintenance Technician** Global Manufacturing \& Supply Montes Claros/MG \- Brazil As a Senior Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the availability, reliability, and safety of electrical installations and equipment at our industrial plant. Your work will have a direct impact on the continuity of production of life-transforming medicines. **Your New Role** Your key responsibilities include: * Performing preventive, corrective, predictive, and emergency maintenance on industrial electrical equipment and systems * Managing electrical substations, including safety systems, plant re-energization processes, and connections to external grids * Operating and maintaining UPS (uninterruptible power supply) systems, monitoring alarms, handling batteries, and ensuring continuous power supply * Ensuring generator operation, including manual and automatic modes, synchronization with the grid, and control via the USCA system * Interpreting electrical diagrams and schematics to diagnose faults and propose efficient solutions * Planning and executing maintenance orders using SAP PM, optimizing resources and timelines * Applying knowledge of electrical principles (current, voltage, resistance, power) to solve complex problems **Your New Department** Our industrial plant is a dynamic environment where technical excellence and teamwork converge to ensure uninterrupted production. You bring: * Technical education in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Automation * Minimum of 3 years’ experience in electrical/automation maintenance within an industrial setting * Solid understanding of electrical principles and theories, including current, voltage, resistance, and their interaction in electrical circuits * Proven ability to install, repair, and maintain various industrial electrical equipment and systems * Ability to read, interpret, and analyze electrical diagrams and schematics, identifying faults and understanding system configurations * Strong applied mathematical skills for calculations involving electrical load, resistance, power, and other electrical parameters * Practical knowledge of substations, UPS systems, and generators, including operation, maintenance, and safety management * Familiarity with maintenance planning in SAP PM, including creation of orders, task scheduling, and resource allocation * Mandatory NR\-10 SEP training, as required by the regulatory standard **Working at Novo Nordisk** Every day, we seek solutions to defeat serious chronic diseases.
