You will work in a dynamic environment with cutting-edge technology, applying engineering best practices, proprietary AI models, and continuous learning — all aimed at democratizing e-commerce and financial services across Latin America. Imagine yourself leading challenging, dynamic, and innovative projects and being **responsible for:** * Being part of the Data Science team focused on Short-Term Forecasting (Forecast), working on key projects that impact real-time operational planning and execution. * Collaborating cross-functionally with an emphasis on agility, impact, and continuous improvement — analyzing large volumes of data (inputs) and generating *insights* to increase operational efficiency and short-term decision-making. * Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and reliable data pipelines to support intraday forecast models (D0 to D+3), enabling anticipation of operational behaviors and needs. * Automating data workflows using Python and SQL, improving data quality and delivery speed. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to understand their requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and validate outcomes. * Managing data across its entire lifecycle, ensuring its quality, integrity, and availability for Data Science teams. * Actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives, proposing ideas and solutions to optimize models, processes, and tools. ### **What are we looking for in you?** * Intermediate knowledge of statistics and *machine learning* (regression, classification, time series, supervised models). * Advanced proficiency in SQL, including CTEs (*Common Table Expressions*) and analytical/window functions such as LAG(), LEAD(), RANK(), and OVER(PARTITION BY ...). * Intermediate-to-advanced knowledge of Python (*pandas*, *numpy*; pySpark is desirable, ML libraries preferred). Basic-to-intermediate Git skills and experience participating in collaborative workflows using *Pull Requests*. * Experience working with large-scale data in production environments (*data lakes*, *data warehouses* in the cloud — e.g., BigQuery). * Familiarity with data management best practices (versioning, quality, monitoring, testing).
