Join our team as: **Senior Exploration Geologist – Caeté**
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Compile, validate, and interpret historical data from mapping, drilling, geochemistry, and geophysics.
* Develop geological models to guide exploration decisions, resource remodelling, and reclassification.
* Prepare mineral exploration plans based on technical and economic criteria.
* Define target-area priorities, considering geological potential and operational feasibility.
* Plan soil, chip, channel, trench, and auger geochemical sampling campaigns;
* Conduct surface structural geological mapping to understand the geometry of rock bodies and mineralizations, enabling the generation of geological models;
* Propose drilling of surface-mapped structures, describing, sampling, and interpreting completed drill holes;
* Lead and supervise the field exploration team’s activities;
* Ensure data quality and compliance with safety protocols.
* Guide the team by promoting training and knowledge sharing.
* Participate in field team formation and the definition of best practices.
* Prepare detailed technical reports to support decision-making.
* Present results and interpretations to multidisciplinary teams and leadership.
**Mandatory Qualifications:**
Completed degree in Geology or Geological Engineering.
Over 8 years of experience in this role.
Knowledge of structural geological mapping.
Experience conducting geochemical sampling in brownfield/greenfield environments.
Proficiency in software such as LeapFrog, ArcGIS, and IoGas.
Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
Driver’s license category B.
**Desirable Qualifications:**
* Familiarity with the basic geology of the Iron Quadrangle will be an advantage.
* A Master’s degree in regional, structural, or economic geology will be an advantage.
