Job Summary: A professional responsible for performing concurrent and terminal cleaning in hospital environments, distributing hygiene materials, and collecting waste to maintain cleanliness and minimize infection risks. Management and transportation of hospital waste Perform daily concurrent and terminal cleaning across all Hospital Units, distribute hygiene and cleaning supplies on each floor, replenish them as needed, collect waste from temporary holding areas located on each floor, and transport it to the external holding area for final disposal, thereby ensuring clean and hygienic environments while minimizing risks of healthcare-associated infections. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Record concurrent and terminal cleaning activities across all branch units to track time spent per activity for generating monthly hygiene indicators; * Distribute hygiene and cleaning supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, soap, plastic packaging, and cleaning products) to units according to quantities determined by the Supervisor, ensuring adequate stock; * Inspect and replenish hygiene and cleaning supplies in the functional cart at the start of each shift to prevent shortages during cleaning tasks and to optimize time efficiency. * Clean functional carts weekly. * Perform daily terminal and concurrent cleaning across all Hospital Units per the annual schedule, removing furniture from areas prior to cleaning; * Conduct washing—using previously trained techniques—on ceilings, walls, furniture, and floors to maintain a clean environment and minimize risks of healthcare-associated infections; * Collect waste from temporary holding areas located on each floor using appropriate carts and transport it to the external holding area for removal by licensed waste collection companies in compliance with applicable legislation; * Disinfect the external holding area with water and disinfectant detergent after waste removal to ensure proper cleanliness and organization; * Disinfect collection carts at the end of each shift to minimize risks of healthcare-associated infections; * Comply with Unit regulations and safeguard institutional assets; * Report equipment malfunctions to the Supervisor; * Disinfect cleaning supply distribution points within the assigned sector after completing each shift; * Use personal protective equipment (PPE). **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed elementary education; * Prior experience in this role is desirable. **Additional Information** Opportunities available in the **North Central** and **West Sector** Monthly working hours: **180H and 200H** Salary range: **R$1\.500,00 to R$1\.600,00 (monthly)** **Benefits:** * Life Insurance * Partnerships with SESC and TANGARÁ * Meal Voucher **SPDM** \- Associação Paulista para o Desenvolvimento da Medicina is a non-profit, philanthropic civil association recognized as being of federal, state, and municipal public utility, respectively by Decrees No. 57\.925 dated 03/04/1966, No. 40\.103 dated 05/17/1962, and No. 8\.911 dated 07/30/1970\. SPDM – Associação Paulista para o Desenvolvimento da Medicina assumed management of the Integrated Care Units (UAIs) of the Municipality of Uberlândia on June 1, 2018, pursuing excellence in public healthcare delivery and commitment to the principles of Brazil’s Unified Health System.
