Ensuring safety, schedule, cost, and quality in projects The purpose of the Senior Engineer role is to lead and manage the implementation of industrial projects overseen by DPOI, ensuring application of best project management practices to achieve implementation within safety, schedule, cost, and quality requirements, thereby supporting the company’s sustainability and growth strategies. **Responsibilities and Duties** Ensure project execution according to the department’s project portfolio schedules; Coordinate necessary procurements to ensure effective departmental operations; Evaluate, monitor, and approve engineering and construction contract measurements for the department; Lead the conceptual study phase; Collaborate with engineering to prepare the agreement on the solution selected during the pre-feasibility study; Prepare engineering and construction AFEs; Ensure project activities align with project objectives and priorities, detailing scope with maximum possible information; Participate in technology selection and assume responsibility for coordinating process design; Integrate other functional areas into the team, defining roles and responsibilities; Provide technical and management support to the business unit; Recommend a procurement plan; Prepare cost magnitude estimates and schedules; Participate in basic engineering development; Participate in detailed engineering development; Integrate construction management, operations, finance, and other key functional areas into design package reviews, constructability reviews, and safety & environmental reviews; Prepare contingency plans; Lead contractor selection for execution; Lead the project execution phase; Lead development of the Risk Management Plan; Monitor and ensure contract compliance; Ensure adherence to engineering and construction quality standards; Ensure construction safety standards are upheld; Prepare the "Punch List" and close all "A" items; Lead evaluation and negotiation of change requests; Ensure execution of "as-built" documentation for the project; Establish priorities based on trade-offs; Lead pre-commissioning activities; Maintain all project-related documentation organized per internal procedures and easily accessible; Execute the project closure workflow. **Requirements and Qualifications** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering: Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Production Engineering; Knowledge of manufacturing (workshop), project execution, and related fields.
