Job Summary: Serve as the technical reference for environmental licensing, providing specialized support in managing licensing processes and ensuring legal compliance. Key Highlights: 1. Serve as the technical reference for environmental licensing, providing specialized support to the Environmental Management Department in conducting licensing processes, renewals, and fulfillment of conditions, ensuring legal compliance, technical quality of studies, and strategic management of relationships with environmental agencies. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Lead efforts to obtain and renew environmental licenses for the entire project, including areas designated for mineral exploration, and ensure preparation of required studies and technical reports for environmental agencies, aiming to guarantee the company’s operational readiness. * Monitor environmental aspects of operations and compliance with applicable environmental legal requirements, conditions, and environmental control plans and programs under responsibility, guiding necessary actions to ensure corporate compliance. * Serve as the technical focal point with environmental agencies (SEMAD, FEAM, URA, IGAM, IEF, IEPHA, COPAM, where applicable, IBAMA/IPHAN) for obtaining licenses and permits. * Monitor changes in environmental regulatory frameworks, assess issues that may impact the business, and guide necessary actions to ensure legal compliance. * Prepare reports for environmental agencies and stakeholders on topics related to the environment or direct responses to others linked to environmental licensing matters. * Support the Environmental Management Department during environmental audits and inspections. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or related fields, with active registration in the respective professional councils. * Intermediate/Advanced English **(Will be assessed throughout the process)** * In-depth knowledge of Minas Gerais state environmental legislation. * Experience in environmental licensing, environmental audits, and environmental management systems. * Extensive and well-documented experience in the environmental field, with emphasis on licensing. * Driver’s License Category B **Additional Information** **Salary + Benefits** * Health Insurance (co-payment); * Dental Insurance (co-payment); * PR – Profit Sharing; * Private Pension Plan; * Life Insurance; * Meal Allowance; * Transportation Allowance; * School Kit; * Christmas Kit; * Counseling Program.
