Ensure product quality and compliance with company standards. **Posting Period** From March 10, 2026 to March 24, 2026 **Country or region** Brazil **Location** Patos de Minas **Business Unit** Plant Care **Department** Quality Assurance and Control **Entry date** As soon as possible **Job Status** Temporary \- Full time (1 year) **Minimal required work experience** None required **Minimal education level required** High school **Work schedule** 44h **Salary** To be determined **Benefits** Competitive social benefits **LABORATORY ASSISTANT** ------------------------ ### **MAIN FUNCTIONS** *Job Descripton:* Support laboratory routines and quality control procedures to ensure that products meet the company's quality, safety, and compliance standards. **Responsibilites:** * Manage the stock and expiration dates of laboratory materials together with the Warehouse, notifying the immediate supervisor about the need to request purchases. * Assist in conducting production tests for new products to validate production protocols. * Document results of analyses and tests in systems or specific spreadsheets, ensuring proper recording and traceability of data. * Assist in performing moisture tests on process samples and final products according to the Work Instruction (WI), recording results in spreadsheets. * Assist in the calibration of laboratory equipment and register data in spreadsheets. * Support basic maintenance of laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning and accuracy of analyses. * Prepare culture media to meet all laboratory demands, following recipes described in the culture media preparation folder. * Ensure product quality and compliance according to company standards and applicable regulations, contributing to the delivery of safe and effective products. * Assist in preparing general laboratory materials and instruments for use. * Assist in analyzing samples from industrial processes, verifying concentration, moisture, germination, contamination, and evaluating product quality according to company norms and procedures. * Assist in preparing inoculum for industrial\-scale production: handle fungi and bacteria under laminar flow according to Work Instructions. * Pour culture media into Petri dishes according to testing demands, following quality control standards. * Execute quality control procedures following established company standards to ensure product conformity with technical specifications. * Perform spraying, disintegration, suspensibility, and residue tests on the final product, using techniques described in product manuals and Work Instructions, recording results in spreadsheets. ### **TECHNICAL SKILLS** **Required** * Data Analysis and Interpretation Laboratory Best Practices Internal Standards and Procedures Product Knowledge Safety ### **PERSONAL ABILITIES** **Required** * Planning and Organization Attention to Detail Commitment and Punctuality Proactivity and Flexibility Teamwork Ethics ### **ORGANIZATION** Lallemand is a privately held Canadian company founded in the late 19th century, which develops, produces, and markets microorganisms for various markets.
