Required:
* Electrical Technician;
* Driver's license Category B;
* Active registration with the professional council;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
* Experience in transmission line maintenance and construction;
Desirable:
* Knowledge of EquipMaint Maintenance Management Software;
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Administration, or related fields;
* Experience in substations (SE);
* Leadership experience.
Job Mission:
Inspect transmission lines, monitoring and coordinating maintenance activities performed by your team of electricians, complying with internal processes and requirements, and improvements defined by the contract supervisor, ensuring the highest quality in service delivery.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and guide inspection activities, forecasting necessary resources, complying with legal, safety, and engineering regulations, to meet maintenance plans, established targets, and ensure maximum availability and reliability of assets;
* Execute and/or guide the team in performing daily predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities on energized and/or de-energized transmission lines, forecasting required resources and complying with legal, safety, and engineering standards, to meet maintenance plans, targets, and ensure maximum asset availability and reliability;
* Be responsible for specialized maintenance execution on energized lines, following engineering procedures and occupational safety requirements, aiming to maintain LT availability and reliability while meeting the maintenance plan;
* Respond to emergency and urgent situations by conducting special inspections, locating and identifying causes of automatic outages, to clarify events and restore transmission functionality as quickly as possible;
* Contribute to the upkeep and maintenance of facilities and sub-stations, reporting to the supervisor expiration/payment dates for utility fees, taxes, and insurance, ensuring adequate infrastructure conditions for proper operational activities;
* Receive and accompany visits and audits from external agencies as directed by the immediate supervisor, responding to requests and presenting documents to demonstrate compliance with legal requirements according to established regulations;
* Assist the supervisor in local administrative, financial, and accounting management (cash), following financial administrative procedures, contributing to reports on income and expenditures supported by invoices, ensuring compliance with financial administrative procedures;
* Keep the maintenance management software updated with data from inspections, to report and monitor maintenance task completion and maintain updated maintenance indicators;
* Provide technical information resulting from equipment and system failures and performance, reporting specific details to support analysis by engineering specialists;
* Ensure proper use and preservation of transmission line maintenance tools and instruments, aiming to safeguard company safety and assets;
* Routinely engage with landowners crossed by transmission lines, identifying and reporting dissatisfaction points to the supervisor, to maintain good relationships and ensure free access for service execution;
* Prepare inspection and technical reports following engineering-established standards, to meet deadlines and legal requirements of the current contract;
* Monitor and/or execute commissioning and acceptance of new equipment and transmission lines, following the commissioning plan and executive project, to obtain approval for commercial operation;
* Assist the substation (SE) team in executing predictive, preventive, and corrective activities to meet maintenance plans and established goals;
* Operate company vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and fleet policies, ensuring safety and protecting COTESA’s and the client’s assets and image;
* Receive materials and equipment, controlling, organizing, cleaning, and maintaining spare parts in good condition, following established procedures, suggesting storage improvements to keep inventory in optimal usable condition;
* Comply with and instruct the team on adherence to legal regulations and internal procedures, keeping safety documentation up to date, supervising correct use and maintenance of PPE and collective protection equipment, proactively monitoring activities, identifying risks, proposing control measures to SESMT, to ensure health and safety;
* Maintain positive relations with the client's local team, aligning service demands from the client with internal operational needs;
* Comply with environmental regulations, supervising and guiding the work team to meet current environmental legislation and programs derived from project licensing;
* Contribute to the development and implementation of Contingency Plans, Emergency Response Plans, and/or Dam Safety Plans, following internal procedures, identifying deviations, implementing necessary actions, and allocating required resources to ensure operational safety and personnel and facility protection;
* Contribute to drafting technical specifications following internal procedures, to procure specialized services;
* Assist in monitoring area indicators, identifying weaknesses and inconsistencies, suggesting corrective actions and supporting the supervisor in their implementation, to improve area processes and support strategic decision-making;
* Support the development of other team members by guiding task execution and sharing knowledge, reporting training difficulties and needs to the supervisor, contributing to team capacity building;
* Provide service and perform other related and inherent professional duties as directed and/or requested by the immediate supervisor.
