Handling identification and correction of connection issues **Job Description** Professional responsible for the installation, maintenance, and certification of telecommunications networks, with emphasis on structured cabling and optical fiber. Will identify and correct connection issues, perform signal quality testing, and organize network infrastructure, adhering to occupational safety standards. **Responsibilities** * Install and route optical fiber and UTP cables. * Terminate optical and metallic cables at racks, patch panels, DIOs, and other network components. * Organize structured cabling (vertical and horizontal). * Identify and correct connection issues in telecommunications networks. * Perform signal quality tests and assess optical link performance. * Follow occupational safety standards during all activities. **Requirements** * Proven experience as a telecommunications cabling technician. * Knowledge of optical fiber cable installation and maintenance. * Ability to identify and correct connection issues. * Technical certification in telecommunications. **Mandatory** * Comprehensive knowledge of structured cabling certification. * Optical fiber fusion splicing training. * Structured cabling training. * Experience in optical fiber fusion splicing. * Use of OTDR for testing and diagnosing links.
