Does it match your profile? **Responsibilities and Duties** * Support, as requested, the organization and execution of cultural and academic events promoted by the Library, including preparing venues, organizing materials, welcoming participants, and providing operational support for activities (lectures, exhibitions, workshops, and book launches). * Contribute to promoting cultural initiatives among the academic community and ensure the library environment is properly organized before, during, and after events, aligning with institutional policies and appropriate use of library spaces. * Operate the borrowing, returning, renewing, reserving, and interlibrary loan processes via the Pergamum System for users. * Monitor user entry and exit. * Assist in training sessions, database workshops, and guided library tours for users. * Physically prepare (stamping, labeling, anti-theft devices) all bibliographic materials across all libraries (SIBI/PUCPR) for circulation and lending to users. * Remove from the collection—via the Pergamum System—items reported missing, irreparably damaged, or discarded, to maintain reliable catalog information. * Assist users in locating information via the Pergamum System and on shelves. * Manage the use of available study booths via the Pergamum System. * Prepare and manage the dispatch and receipt of bibliographic materials to other campuses via interlibrary mail service. * Photocopy pages from books damaged by users for rebinding, enabling continued circulation of the material. * Collect statistical data on assigned tasks using spreadsheets for activity recordkeeping. * Maintain order and silence within library premises. * Receive and verify newly acquired bibliographic materials. * Digitize book covers and insert them into the Pergamum System to enrich the library’s online catalog and enable immediate user access during consultation. * Digitize bibliographic materials for visually impaired users to facilitate their use. * Record journal issues received via purchase, donation, or exchange in the Pergamum System’s kardex to make such information accessible to users. * Assist in discarding bibliographic materials to optimize shelf space. * Assist in the annual inventory of the collection using handheld data collectors. * Assist in manual relocations of the bibliographic collection, when necessary, to organize or reorganize collections and improve collection flow. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What You Need:** * Completed or ongoing undergraduate degree; * Prior experience in the field; * Creative writing and persuasive communication skills; * Public service techniques; * Microsoft Office suite; * Familiarity with Pergamum System features; **Behavioral Competencies** * Proactivity and initiative in seeking creative solutions; * Strong verbal and written communication skills; * Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment; * Organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines; * Adaptability to change and commitment to continuous learning; * Autonomy and self-management. **Additional Information** **What You’ll Find Here:** * Unimed Health Plan: With co-payment, offering medical coverage and access to a high-quality accredited provider network. * OdontoPrev Dental Plan: Nationwide coverage, with monthly premiums deducted from payroll. * Education Incentive Program: Emphasis on professional and personal development, with incentives for specialization, extension courses, language learning, and postgraduate studies at PUCPR. * Meals at Bistrô Marista: On-site meals provided on workdays, with a nominal payroll deduction. * Quality of Life Program. * Private Pension Plan. * Life Insurance. * Transportation Voucher. * Free Parking. * Wellhub (formerly Gympass): Access to numerous gyms with monthly fees deducted from payroll. * Zenklub: Access to telehealth sessions with mental health specialists, with two monthly consultations exempt from charge. * “Conte Comigo” Program: Multidisciplinary team available for social support, legal guidance (excluding labor-related matters), financial and pension consulting. * Benefits Club: Partnerships with companies across various sectors, offering special discounts on services and products. **Salary:** Our salary proposal is determined based on multiple factors.
