About Us GTOP is comprised of the brands Rede TOP, ObenCard, and Preceiro Atacadista. With multi-family management, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for cashier operations and customer service, following established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning/registering merchandise, collecting payments, performing cash drawer withdrawals, closing the register, and providing an end-of-shift financial reconciliation. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the checkout, adhering to protocols, rules, regulations, and pre-established standards; scanning/weighing products, consulting code tables, verifying product labels, checking weight on scales and system correspondence; processing payments—including verifying prior authorization and making appropriate notations on the back of checks when accepting checks, and verifying authenticity of cash; Ensure timely cash drawer withdrawals during the shift and proper register closure, including counting cash, reconciling totals, signing documentation, and delivering it to the Supervisor and/or depositing into a safe or 24-hour cash box—thereby preventing excessive exposure of cash and ensuring accurate financial accountability; Contribute to achieving current campaign targets by promoting available products and services, identifying missing items, and reporting them to the Supervisor for follow-up; Help reduce front-end losses by proactively minimizing bag waste, potential theft, and ensuring prompt returns of perishable goods, etc.; Maintain the workstation and equipment in optimal working and clean condition; request bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist with packing and preparing goods for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Support related tasks as needed, such as shelf stocking, checkout stand restocking, pricing and expiry date verification of merchandise, gift wrapping, etc.; Requirements **Academic Qualification:** Completed elementary education **Additional Information:** 100% in-person position **Work Location:** Anfilóquio Nunes Píres, 4242 \- Bela Vista / Gaspar \- SC Work schedule: 4:00 PM to 10:20 PM **Benefits:** Health Insurance Dental Insurance Pharmacy Benefit Plan Retail Store Purchase Discount Program Life Insurance Performance-Based Bonus Attendance Bonus * Position available for persons with disabilities (PCD)
