Mid-Level Web Developer (ON-SITE)

Job Summary: Mid-Level Systems Analyst to develop and maintain systems, perform requirements analysis, and contribute to research and new technologies. Key Highlights: 1. Work on development and maintenance of PHP-based systems. 2. Conduct system analysis and requirements gathering. 3. Contribute to research and development of new technologies. ***Minimum Requirements:*** * Bachelor's or technology-focused undergraduate degree in Information Technology, completed or in progress \- with at least 50% (fifty percent) of coursework completed; * Minimum of 2 (two) years of experience in systems development, with PHP knowledge. ***Responsibilities:*** * Perform system analysis and requirements gathering with users, as well as document and detail the resulting models; * Design logical data models; * Carry out corrective, preventive, and evolutionary development and maintenance of systems; * Modify systems/programs/applications/etc., by altering code and other components to fix bugs and meet changes and needs; * Conduct simulations and set up production-like environments to evaluate results of developed programs; * Perform tests under simulated operational conditions, verifying whether the system executes all specifications adequately and within planned performance; * Provide user support and training; * Monitor and execute schedules defined jointly with Business Analysts and Project Managers; * Contribute to research, development, and testing of new technologies; * Apply best practices in systems development, such as usability, accessibility, responsiveness, among others; * Seek project optimization for continuous improvement and evolution; * Support monitoring and adjustment activities to ensure optimal process performance; * Comply with the General Data Protection Law (LGPD); * Perform other related duties as assigned. ***Desired Experience and Knowledge:*** * Object-oriented systems development methodology; * Service-oriented architecture; * Version control (GIT); * Continuous integration; * Software engineering; * Project management (agile methodologies); * Databases: MS SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, and PostGIS; * Technologies: PHP, Java, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Python, jQuery, JavaScript plugins and libraries, GIS; * SQL language (PL/SQL, DDL, DML, DCL, DQL, TCL/DTL); * Creation, configuration, and maintenance of web servers; * PHP frameworks, preferably Zend, Symfony, and Laravel; * PHP micro-frameworks: Slim, Silex, or similar; * Frameworks: WordPress, Joomla!, Python: Django, Flask, Bottle, and/or similar. * Usage, configuration, and maintenance of \*nix desktops (Linux, BSD, Solaris, OSX).
