Provide technical support to various departments **MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT I** We are seeking a **Maintenance Assistant I** to work in **Navegantes/SC**. **Main Duties and Responsibilities:** * Analyze, question, and approve repair estimates for structures and machinery on the carrier's equipment, respecting deductibles stipulated in the SLA defined by the department. * Request post-repair inspections randomly or as needed to ensure that approved repairs were actually performed. * Register repair costs and man-hour rates in the designated M\&R system according to Procurement’s negotiations and the carrier’s standard rate table. * Generate pre-billing for payments to depots, inspection agencies, and reefer service providers in the designated system per item 3\. * Apply "debit account" when contracted suppliers fail to follow the carrier’s process, fail to record evidence for required approvals, or fail to recover costs in the designated system. * Analyze leasing units (on hire / off hire) to determine fleet unit status. Control and management of total loss units after an incident is declared, following the parent company’s approval request process, DRV value, and subsequently proceeding with nationalization, release, and disposition of the unit (not responsible after disposition to third parties or Group companies). * Interface with Geneva, Antwerp, and global agents to ensure repairs are correctly approved per the carrier’s standards and their associated cost allocation. * Monitor approval reports, performance of contracted suppliers, and costs (average repair cost, cost per terminal, number of damages, inspection agency reports, etc.). * Provide technical support to Commercial, Finance, EQC, and other departments when technical analysis and audits of completed repairs are required, as well as analysis of the carrier’s damage criteria. **Required Qualifications:** * Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Administration, Logistics, International Trade, or Investor Relations * Basic English * Intermediate Excel * Microsoft Office Suite Our company provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
