Under multi-family management, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for operating the checkout and serving customers, adhering to protocols, rules, regulations, and pre-established standards; scanning merchandise and processing payments; performing cash withdrawals from the register; closing the register; and providing an end-of-shift financial report. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the checkout by following protocols, rules, regulations, and pre-established standards; scanning/weighing products; consulting the product code table; checking product labels, scale weight, and system accuracy; processing payments; verifying prior authorization for checks and making appropriate notations on the back; and verifying authenticity of cash; Ensure cash withdrawals during the shift and proper register closing, including counting cash, reconciling totals, signing reports, and submitting them to the supervisor and/or depositing funds into a safe or 24-hour vault to prevent accumulation of exposed cash and ensure accurate financial reporting; Contribute to achieving targets of ongoing campaigns by offering available products and services, identifying missing items, and reporting them to the supervisor for action; Help reduce front-end checkout losses through preventive measures such as minimizing plastic bag waste, preventing theft, and ensuring prompt returns of perishable items; Maintain the workplace and equipment in perfect working and clean condition, and request plastic bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist in sorting goods for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Support related tasks as needed, including shelf stocking, checkout stand replenishment, product pricing and expiry date verification, gift packaging, etc. REQUIREMENTS **Education:** Completed elementary school **Additional Information:** Fully on-site position **Work Location:** R.
