Job Summary: Responsible for operating the cash register and serving customers, following protocols, rules, and regulations, scanning merchandise and collecting payments. Key Highlights: 1. Under multi-family management, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2,000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35,000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for operating the cash register and serving customers, adhering to established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning merchandise and collecting payments; performing cash withdrawals; closing the cash register; and providing an end-of-shift financial report. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the cash register by following established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning/weighing products; consulting code tables; checking product labels, scale weights, and system matching; collecting payments; verifying prior authorization for checks and making proper notations on the back; and verifying authenticity of cash; Ensure cash withdrawals during the shift and cash register closing by counting cash, reconciling totals, signing reports, and submitting them to the Supervisor and/or depositing funds into a safe or 24-hour cash box, thereby preventing excessive exposed cash and ensuring accurate financial reporting; Contribute to achieving current campaign targets by offering available products and services, identifying missing items, and promptly notifying the Supervisor for corrective action; Help reduce losses at the front-end cashier area through preventive actions such as minimizing bag waste, preventing theft, and expediting returns of perishable goods, etc. Maintain the work area and equipment in optimal working and clean condition; request bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist in sorting merchandise for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Support related tasks whenever necessary, including shelf stocking, checkout stand setup, pricing and expiry date verification of merchandise, gift wrapping, etc. Requirements **Academic Qualification:** Completed elementary education **Additional Information:** 100% in-person position **Work Location:** R.
