Job Summary: The professional will be responsible for operating the cash register and serving customers, ensuring excellence in service, registering merchandise, collecting payments, and performing daily cash register closing. Managed by a multi-family administration, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for operating the cash register and serving customers in accordance with established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; registering merchandise, collecting payments, performing cash withdrawals, closing the register, and providing end-of-shift financial reporting. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the checkout, following protocols, rules, regulations, and pre-established standards; scanning/weighing products, consulting code tables, checking product labels, verifying weight on scales and system correspondence, processing payments, and, in case of checks, confirming prior authorization and making appropriate notations on the back; for cash payments, verifying authenticity; Ensure cash withdrawals during the shift and proper cash register closing by counting cash, reconciling totals, signing reports, and delivering them to the Supervisor and/or depositing funds into a safe or 24-hour cash box, thereby preventing excessive exposure of cash and ensuring accurate financial reporting; Contribute to achieving current campaign targets by promoting available products and services, identifying missing items, and informing the Supervisor for necessary action; Contribute to reducing checkout-related losses by proactively minimizing plastic bag waste, preventing theft, promptly returning perishable items, etc.; Maintain the workplace and equipment in perfect working and clean condition, and request plastic bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist in sorting merchandise for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Support related tasks as needed, such as shelf stocking, checkout stand restocking, product pricing and expiration date verification, gift packaging, among others; Requirements **Academic qualification:** Completed elementary education **Additional information:** 100% on-site position **Work location:** Avenida Frei Godofredo 1500 Santa Terezinha, Gaspar \- SC **Benefits:** Health Insurance Dental Insurance Pharmacy Benefits Shopping Benefits at Group Stores Life Insurance Attendance Bonus * Position available for Persons with Disabilities (PCD)
