Job Summary: Responsible for operating the checkout and serving customers, scanning merchandise, collecting payments, and reconciling accounts at the end of the shift. Key Highlights: 1. With multi-family management, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for operating the checkout and serving customers in accordance with established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning merchandise, collecting payments, performing cash withdrawals from the register, closing the register, and reconciling daily transactions at the end of the shift. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the checkout by following established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning/weighing products, consulting code tables, checking product labels, verifying weight on scales and system correspondence; processing payments; for checks, confirming prior authorization and making appropriate notations on the back; for cash, verifying authenticity; Ensure cash withdrawals from the register during the shift and its closure, including counting cash, totaling amounts, signing and submitting reports to the Supervisor and/or depositing into a safe or 24-hour cash box, thereby avoiding excessive exposed cash and ensuring accurate reconciliation; Contribute to achieving targets of current campaigns by offering available products and services, identifying missing items, and reporting them to the Supervisor for action; Contribute to reducing checkout-related losses through preventive measures such as minimizing plastic bag waste, preventing theft, promptly returning perishables, etc. Maintain the workplace and equipment in optimal working and clean condition; request plastic bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist in sorting merchandise for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Support related tasks whenever necessary, such as shelf stocking, checkout stand restocking, pricing and expiry date verification of merchandise, gift wrapping, etc. Requirements **Education:** Completed elementary school **Additional Information:** 100% in-person position (Address)(https://www.google.com/search?sca\_esv\=d39ac736e437527b\&rlz\=1C1GCEA\_enBR1169BR1169\&sxsrf\=AE3TifNs1GVPdO3cRzxcNRBM2sjS52KaMw: 1760707659592\&q\=rede\+top\+\-\+fortaleza\+endere%C3%A7o\&ludocid\=8384629638667381548\&sa\=X\&sqi\=2\&ved\=2ahUKEwjsu\-mUq6uQAxXTHbkGHV0sHHAQ6BN6BAgxEAI): R.
