Job Summary:
Responsible for the development, evaluation, and implementation of cosmetic packaging solutions, ensuring functionality, quality, and brand alignment.

Responsible for the development, evaluation, selection, and implementation of packaging solutions for products and cosmetics, ensuring functionality, quality, technical feasibility for production machinery, and alignment with brand positioning. Engages in material, supplier, and manufacturing process selection, conducts performance testing, and consistently pursues continuous improvement.
**Responsibilities:**
Identify, evaluate, and select primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging, considering compatibility with formulations (creams, lotions, serums, alcoholic products, etc.) and with the company’s production processes (filling, sealing, labeling, and transportation).
Lead technical quotations with the procurement and commercial teams and suppliers, analyzing cost, lead time, MOQ, quality, and production capacity.
Maintain direct contact and negotiate with domestic and international suppliers, monitoring the development of new components and technical adjustments.
Assess machinery feasibility with production departments to ensure packaging compatibility with filling, sealing, labeling, and other production process stages.
Research and propose new packaging solutions, considering innovation, market trends, and economically viable alternatives.
Request, receive, and evaluate samples, conducting compatibility, seal integrity, mechanical resistance, transportation, and other relevant tests.
Monitor industrial trials and in-line validations to ensure proper packaging performance during production. Develop, review, and maintain up-to-date technical data sheets and packaging specifications, including materials, dimensions, finishes, requirements, and approval criteria.
Input technical and commercial packaging information into internal systems to ensure data organization, traceability, and accuracy.
Collaborate with R\&D, Quality, Production, Procurement, and Marketing departments in developing and approving new projects.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, cost reduction, and optimization of existing packaging.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards for the cosmetic industry.
Monitor project development schedules to meet deadlines and deliverables.
Provide technical support in investigating and resolving packaging-related quality deviations.
**Requirements:**
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Pharmacy / Materials Engineering, or related fields.
Prior experience in packaging within pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or food industries (a strong advantage). Technical knowledge of packaging materials.
Ability to assess product-packaging compatibility.
Knowledge of industrial production processes (filling, sealing, labeling, transportation) and machinery feasibility analysis. Ability to develop and interpret packaging technical data sheets and specifications. Experience with quotation, negotiation, and supplier qualification processes, including cost, lead time, and quality analysis.
Project management skills for packaging development, schedule tracking, and cross-functional collaboration.
Familiarity with applicable regulatory standards, particularly ANVISA and INMETRO.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and ERP systems for data management, technical analysis, and reporting.
