* Job Description \- responsible for a range of tasks extending beyond simple transportation. Responsibilities include safe vehicle operation as well as operational and quality control tasks directly at collection points. Restaurant Collection One of the driver's primary responsibilities is to collect used cooking oil from partner restaurants according to pre-established routes and schedules. To do so, the driver must present themselves in a courteous and professional manner at each establishment, ensuring that the material is collected in an organized, safe, and company-compliant manner. The driver is also responsible for recording each collection point, ensuring accurate tracking of collected quantities. Oil Quality Verification During collections, the driver must conduct a preliminary assessment of the collected oil’s quality, observing characteristics such as appearance, color, presence of residues, and odor. This verification is essential to ensure the material meets the company’s acceptance standards, preventing the collection of non-conforming oil and safeguarding overall process quality. In cases of non-conformance, the driver must immediately notify the responsible department. Payment Processing The driver is also responsible for making on-site payments to restaurants when applicable. For this, they must handle funds with full accountability, organization, and transparency, retaining receipts and transaction records securely for company reporting. Financial route control is an integral part of this role. Other General Responsibilities In addition to the above duties, the driver must maintain the vehicle’s cleanliness and condition, comply with traffic and safety regulations, adhere to scheduled route timings, and uphold a professional demeanor in all interactions with customers and partners. Commitment, honesty, and organizational skills are indispensable for successful performance of this role. * Documentation and Qualifications National Driver’s License (CNH) category B, C, or D, valid within its expiration period Proven experience as a driver, preferably in collection or distribution routes Technical Knowledge Ability to assess collected oil quality (appearance, odor, color, and presence of impurities) Knowledge of route planning and map reading or use of navigation applications (GPS) Basic understanding of hygiene and waste handling best practices Financial and Administrative Skills Ability to process payments Organizational skills to store receipts and record transactions Responsibility in handling cash Ability to complete collection reports and logs Behavioral Profile Honesty and integrity, especially given financial responsibilities Organization and punctuality to complete routes on schedule Strong communication and interpersonal skills with partners and restaurants Accountability and commitment to daily tasks Proactivity in resolving unforeseen issues during routes Physical Requirements Good physical condition for loading and unloading oil containers Flexible availability, including willingness to work varied shifts Desirable Prior experience in used oil or waste collection Familiarity with the company’s operating region Completed high school education Work Location: On-site
