Contribution to goals and loss reduction About Us GTOP comprises the brands Rede TOP, ObenCard, and Preceiro Atacadista. With multi-family management, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for cash register operations and customer service, adhering to established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; registering merchandise and collecting payments, performing cash withdrawals from the register, closing the register, and providing an end-of-shift financial report. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the cash register by following protocols, rules, regulations, and established standards; scanning/weighing products, consulting code tables, checking product labels, verifying weight on scales and system correspondence, processing payments, and—when accepting checks—confirming prior authorization and making appropriate notations on the back; when accepting cash, verifying authenticity; Ensure cash withdrawals during shifts and proper register closure by counting cash, reconciling totals, signing reports, and submitting them to the Supervisor and/or depositing funds into a safe or 24-hour cash box, thereby avoiding excessive exposure of cash and ensuring accurate financial reporting; Contribute to achieving targets of ongoing campaigns by offering available products and services, identifying missing items, and reporting such omissions to the Supervisor for action; Contribute to reducing loss rates at the checkout area by proactively minimizing plastic bag waste, preventing theft, promptly returning perishable items, etc. Maintain the work area and equipment in perfect working and clean condition; request plastic bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist with packing and organizing goods for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Assist with related tasks as needed, including shelf stocking, checkout stand restocking, product pricing and expiration date verification, gift packaging, etc. Requirements **Academic Qualification:** Completed elementary education **Additional Information:** 100% on-site position **Work Location:** R.
