Under multi-family management, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2,000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35,000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for operating the checkout and serving customers, following established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning and registering merchandise, collecting payments, performing cash withdrawals from the register, closing the register, and submitting daily financial reports at the end of the shift. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the checkout by adhering to established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards—scanning/weighing products, consulting the product code table, checking product labels, verifying weight on the scale and system consistency, processing payments, and, when accepting checks, confirming prior authorization and making appropriate notations on the back; when handling cash, verifying authenticity; Ensure timely cash withdrawals during the shift and proper register closure—counting cash, reconciling totals, signing reports, and delivering them to the supervisor and/or depositing funds into a safe or 24-hour cash box—to prevent accumulation of exposed cash and ensure accurate financial reporting; Contribute to achieving current campaign targets by promoting available products and services, identifying missing items, and promptly notifying the supervisor for corrective action; Help reduce losses at the checkout area through preventive actions—including minimizing plastic bag waste, preventing theft, and expediting returns of perishable goods; Maintain the workplace and equipment in optimal working and clean condition, and request plastic bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist in sorting merchandise for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Support related tasks whenever necessary, such as shelf stocking, checkout stand restocking, pricing and expiry date verification of merchandise, gift packaging, etc. REQUIREMENTS **Education:** Completed elementary school **Additional Information:** 100% in-person position **Work Location:** R.
