Description
Job Responsibilities:
* Coordinate the activities of product shelf-stockers; responsible for the liquid restocking team’s operations; ensure the department remains fully stocked by organizing and transferring merchandise according to store layouts, manuals, and company policies;
* Monitor departmental sales and loss targets;
* Conduct audits in accordance with company guidelines;
* Review various reports;
* Plan next-day activities, including promotional activities and products to be packaged;
* Daily inspection of refrigerated display cases and cold rooms, following company-defined instructions and procedures;
* Place daily orders for merchandise with appropriate suppliers, based on operational needs and company guidelines;
* Verify, organize, register invoices and related reports per company processes; negotiate with suppliers and place orders for sale items; consistently maintain up-to-date price labeling and inventory control within the department; evaluate and control merchandise and products both in the sales area and in inventory, per company definitions, standards, and procedures; manage and monitor orders, inventory levels, weekly and monthly shrinkage; receive, verify, and store merchandise in their designated locations; train and coordinate area-specific tasks and production activities; guide and supervise tasks performed, focusing on service quality and customer service standards.
* Guide team members regarding compliance with occupational safety regulations; inspect team members’ appearance and personal conduct per current company manuals and policies; instruct staff on proper use of equipment, machinery, carts, and safe handling of merchandise, including correct usage of department-designated carts; hold weekly team meetings; perform store opening and closing duties as required and requested by management within scheduled working hours; request maintenance and repairs for machinery, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems whenever necessary and per company directives; guide and monitor the restocking team’s execution of tasks and procedures per company standards; perform departmental operations as defined by the company; attend meetings and training sessions scheduled by management and/or executive leadership; plan and manage vacation schedules, timekeeping records, work shifts, weekly rest periods, and hours worked per company guidelines; monitor, guide, and organize the team; conduct reception and onboarding for new employees per management’s manual; plan and manage vacation schedules, timekeeping records, work shifts, weekly rest periods, and hours worked per company guidelines.
