Recognizes and evaluates sales, promotional campaigns, and other opportunities to secure reduced prices. Assesses supplier's products to ensure that they comply with specifications and meet the organization's quality standards. **This role in summary** ------------------------ We are looking for a buyer of Indirect Procurement in the GSS Global Strategic Sourcing team to serve Whirlpool Supply chain, inbound and equipment rental categories. The position will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the company's inbound logistics portfolio; this position will be responsible for defining and executing the strategic sourcing of road freight transportation services that ensure the timely and cost\-effective supply of raw materials to our manufacturing plants in Joinville, Rio Claro, and Manaus.
