Job Summary: Responsible for operating the cash register and serving customers, scanning items, collecting payments, and reconciling transactions. Key Highlights: 1. About Us GTOP comprises the brands Rede TOP, ObenCard, and Preceiro Atacadista. Under multi-family management, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for cash register operations and customer service, adhering to established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning merchandise, collecting payments, performing cash drawer withdrawals, closing the register, and reconciling daily transactions at the end of the shift. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the checkout by following protocols, rules, regulations, and pre-established standards; scanning/weighing products, consulting the product code table, checking product labels, verifying weight on the scale and system consistency, processing payments, and—when accepting checks—verifying prior authorization and making appropriate notations on the back; when accepting cash, verifying authenticity; Ensure cash drawer withdrawals during the shift and proper closing: count cash, reconcile totals, sign documentation, and submit it to the Supervisor and/or deposit into a safe or 24-hour cash box to prevent excessive exposed cash and ensure accurate reconciliation; Contribute to achieving current campaign targets by promoting available products and services, identifying missing items, and reporting them to the Supervisor for follow-up; Contribute to reducing front-end checkout losses through preventive actions such as minimizing bag waste, preventing theft, promptly returning perishables, etc. Maintain the workstation and equipment in optimal working and clean condition; request bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist with separating goods for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Support related tasks whenever necessary, including shelf and checkout stand restocking, pricing and expiry date verification of merchandise, gift packaging, etc. Requirements **Academic qualification:** Completed elementary education **Additional information:** 100% on-site position **Work location:** R.
