About Us GTOP is comprised of the brands Rede TOP, ObenCard, and Preceiro Atacadista. With multi-family management, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for cashier operations and customer service, adhering to established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning/weighing items, collecting payments, performing cash withdrawals from the register, closing the register, and reconciling daily transactions at the end of the shift. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the checkout, following established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning/weighing products, consulting code tables, verifying product labels, checking weight on the scale and system correspondence; processing payments—including verifying prior authorization and making proper notations on the back when accepting checks, and authenticating cash when receiving cash payments; Ensure timely cash withdrawals during the shift and proper register closing, including counting cash, totaling amounts, signing documentation, and delivering it to the Supervisor and/or depositing it into a safe or 24-hour cash box—thereby preventing excessive exposed cash accumulation and ensuring accurate reconciliation; Contribute to achieving current campaign targets by promoting available products and services, identifying missing items, and reporting them to the Supervisor for appropriate action; Help reduce front-of-store losses through preventive actions—such as minimizing plastic bag waste, preventing theft, promptly returning perishables, etc.; Maintain the workstation and equipment in perfect working and clean condition; request plastic bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist with sorting goods for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Support related tasks as needed, such as shelf stocking, checkout stand restocking, product pricing and expiry date verification, gift wrapping, etc.; Requirements **Education:** Completed elementary school **Additional Information:** 100% in-person position **Work Location:** Avenida Frei Godofredo 1500 Santa Terezinha, Gaspar \- SC **Benefits:** Health Insurance Dental Insurance Pharmacy Benefit Program Store Purchase Discount Program Life Insurance Attendance Bonus * Position available for persons with disabilities (PCD)
