Job Summary: Responsible for cash operations and customer service at the checkout, following protocols and standards, scanning merchandise, collecting payments, and performing cash withdrawals and closing procedures. With multi-family management, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for cash operations and customer service at the checkout, following established protocols, rules, standards, and procedures; scanning merchandise, collecting payments, performing cash withdrawals, closing the register, and providing an end-of-shift financial report. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the checkout by adhering to established protocols, rules, standards, and procedures; scanning/weighing products, consulting code tables, checking product labels, verifying weight on scales and system consistency, processing payments, and—when accepting checks—verifying prior authorization and making appropriate notations on the back; when accepting cash, verifying authenticity; Ensure cash withdrawals during the shift and proper register closing by counting cash, reconciling totals, signing and submitting reports to the supervisor and/or depositing funds into a safe or 24-hour cash box, thereby preventing excessive exposed cash accumulation and ensuring accountability; Contribute to achieving current campaign targets by offering available products and services, identifying missing items, and reporting them to the supervisor for follow-up; Help reduce front-end cash losses by proactively minimizing bag waste, potential theft, and promptly returning perishables; Maintain the workplace and equipment in optimal working and clean condition, and request bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist with packing and preparing goods for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Support related tasks as needed, such as shelf and checkout restocking, pricing and expiry date verification of merchandise, gift wrapping, etc. Requirements **Academic qualification:** Completed elementary education **Additional information:** 100% on-site position **Work location:** Rua Hermann Tribess, 1026 \- Tribess, Blumenau \- SC, 89057\-300 **Working hours:** 2:00 PM to 10:20 PM **Benefits:** Health insurance Dental insurance Pharmacy benefits Retail purchase discount program Life insurance * Position available for persons with disabilities (PCD)
