Job Summary: Responsible for operating the cash register and providing customer service, adhering to protocols and standards, scanning merchandise, and processing payments. Key Highlights: 1. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for operating the cash register and providing customer service, adhering to established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning merchandise and processing payments; performing cash withdrawals; closing the register; and reconciling daily transactions at the end of the shift. TASKS TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the checkout, following established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning/weighing products; consulting product code tables; checking product labels, scale weight, and system data consistency; processing payments; for checks, verifying prior authorization and making appropriate notations on the back; for cash, verifying authenticity; Ensure cash withdrawals during the shift and proper register closing, including counting cash, totaling amounts, signing documentation, and delivering it to the Supervisor and/or depositing into a safe or 24-hour vault to prevent accumulation of exposed cash and ensure accurate reconciliation; Contribute to achieving current campaign targets by promoting available products and services, identifying missing items, and reporting them to the Supervisor for resolution; Contribute to reducing front-end losses by proactively minimizing bag waste, preventing theft, expediting returns of perishable goods, etc. Maintain the workstation and equipment in perfect working and clean condition; request bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist in sorting merchandise for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Assist with related tasks as needed, such as shelf stocking, checkout stand replenishment, product pricing, expiry date verification, gift wrapping, etc. Requirements **Education:** Completed elementary school **Additional Information:** Fully on-site position (Address)(https://www.google.com/search?sca_esv=d39ac736e437527b&rlz=1C1GCEA_enBR1169BR1169&sxsrf=AE3TifPOt2Pk9cd3HY7xvDPGjPFDVB3kRg:1760708363873&q=rede+top+-+escola+agr%C3%ADcola+endere%C3%A7o&ludocid=1257227369858026050&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwi1udPkrauQAxWxGbkGHfoTDggQ6BN6BAhAEAI): Rua General Osório, 1490.
