ABOUT THE POSITION: Operational Import Supervisor KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Supervise and monitor operational import processes; - Manage the operational team, supporting technical development and task follow-up; - Ensure adherence to deadlines, operational quality, and alignment with internal procedures; - Engage with clients, providing strategic and consultative support; - Validate documentary analysis and applicable tax treatments for import processes; - Monitor administrative treatment inquiries and system parameterization; - Supervise the issuance and approval of Import Licenses (LI) / Import Permits (LPCO); - Track the registration of Import Declarations (DI) and other stages of customs clearance; - Monitor processes from shipment through final delivery; - Support continuous improvement of operational workflows and departmental performance indicators. REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in International Trade, International Relations, or related fields; - Solid experience in import processes and customs clearance; - Experience managing or leading operational teams; - Knowledge of documentary analysis, tax treatments, and customs procedures; - Experience across air, sea, and road transportation modes; - Intermediate English proficiency for reading and interpreting emails and documents; - Organized, analytical, proactive, and strong communication skills. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Familiarity with international trade operational systems; - Experience managing performance indicators and process improvement.
