Job Summary: Responsible for cash operations and customer service at the checkout counter, including scanning merchandise, collecting payments, and providing accountability reports. With multi-family management, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for operating the cash register and serving customers in accordance with established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards—scanning merchandise, collecting payments, performing cash withdrawals, closing the register, and providing accountability reports for daily transactions. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the checkout counter by following established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards—scanning/weighing products, consulting the product code table, checking product labels, verifying weight on scales and system correspondence; processing payments, and in case of checks, confirming prior authorization and making appropriate notations on the back; when handling cash, verifying authenticity; Ensure cash withdrawals are performed during shifts and that registers are properly closed—counting cash, reconciling totals, signing documentation, and delivering it to the supervisor and/or depositing into a safe or 24-hour cash box—to prevent excessive exposure of cash and ensure accountability; Contribute to achieving current campaign targets by offering available products and services, identifying missing items, and promptly reporting them to the supervisor for resolution; Help reduce front-end losses by proactively minimizing bag waste, preventing theft, ensuring rapid returns of perishable goods, etc. Maintain the workstation and equipment in perfect working and clean condition; request bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist in sorting merchandise for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Support related tasks whenever necessary, such as shelf stocking, checkout stand restocking, product pricing and expiry date verification, gift packaging, etc. Requirements **Academic Qualification:** Completed elementary education **Additional Information:** 100% on-site position **Work Location:** Preceiro Atacadista — Neighborhood: Nações 399 — BR470 **Benefits:** Health Insurance Dental Insurance Pharmacy Benefits Program Retail Store Purchase Benefits Program Life Insurance * Position available for Persons with Disabilities (PCD)
