Job Summary: The Quality Inspector conducts inspections on products and naval construction processes, prepares technical reports, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and monitors Quality performance indicators. Work Location: Itajaí, Santa Catarina **Responsibilities and Duties** **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Conduct quality inspections on products and naval vessel construction processes; * Prepare, issue, and control Quality technical reports; * Support the handling of non-conformities and continuous improvement initiatives; * Train assembly personnel on shipyard operational procedures; * Monitor Quality performance indicators; * Develop and review Quality operational procedures, records, and supplementary documents; * Perform other related and inherent professional activities as required or at the discretion of the supervisor; * Comply with and ensure compliance with Quality procedures; * Conduct Quality walkthroughs; * Ensure all instruments used for inspection are within their calibration validity period, and proactively report instruments nearing expiration; * Conduct quality inspections on products and naval vessel construction processes as soon as possible after receiving the production "ready" notification; * Record inspections in the ISI, SAP, or manual reporting systems as soon as possible after inspection completion; **AUTHORITIES:** * Assess qualitative conditions during NDT inspection; * Manage and generate volumetric testing maps and documentation; * Verify that the location, type, and extent of testing are performed in compliance, including batch assembly; * Update the ISI traceability system (ControlStru or ControlTub) and SAP daily; * Update and upload documents and information into ISI, SAP, and Fusion; * Prepare documents and records pertinent to the Quality Department; * Author/raise Non-Conformities; * Report any deviations/non-compliance with applicable procedures and requirements to immediate leadership. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Education: Completed High School; * Preferred education: Completed Technical Diploma; * ABENDI Liquid Penetrant Inspector qualification; * ABENDI Magnetic Particle Inspector qualification; * Desirable equipment inspector course; * Assembly inspection experience – preferably shipyard experience; * Application of DNV, IEC, and ISO standards; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and the ISI system (Controltub and Controlstru). **Additional Information** **Benefits:** Meal Voucher; Attendance Bonus; Christmas Bonus; Transportation Voucher; On-site cafeteria offering breakfast and lunch; UNIMED health insurance extended to legal dependents; UNIODONTO dental insurance; SulAmérica life insurance extended to legal dependents; Wellness program including workplace gymnastics; Wellhub; Profit Sharing Program (PLR); Private pension plan; We promote continuous development of our employees through internal courses and training; Plus partnerships and agreements offering numerous discounts for you and your dependents!
