Job Summary: Lead and supervise the laboratory team, serving as the technical responsible person and ensuring operational excellence and patient satisfaction, while also performing laboratory technical activities. Focus on operational excellence and patient satisfaction **General Responsibilities:** * Lead and supervise the unit’s workforce, delegating tasks, promoting training, and ensuring a collaborative environment. * Serve as the unit’s **Technical Responsible Person**, ensuring compliance with current legislation, as well as technical guidelines and standards related to laboratory testing. * Achieve the unit’s established targets, ensuring operational excellence and patient satisfaction. * Guarantee **excellent patient care**, promoting quality and empathy at all touchpoints. **Technical Activities:** * Collect and receive biological samples, verifying correct patient identification. * Centrifuge, aliquot, and distribute samples to appropriate technical departments. * Perform and/or assist in conducting tests within your department according to the Quality Management System (QMS) procedures. * Verify and release reports accurately and with technical responsibility. * Perform sample triage, bag assembly, and shipment of materials to support laboratories.
