Multidisciplinary Integration and Continuous Improvement Job Description: The **Mechanical Engineering Coordinator** will be responsible for leading the mechanical engineering team in the development, standardization, and execution of **mechanical projects for Low and Medium Voltage (LV/MV) electrical panels**, ensuring compliance with technical standards, customer requirements, deadlines, costs, and Schneider Electric’s quality standards. This role requires both strategic and operational engagement, serving as the liaison between engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and commercial functions.**Key Responsibilities** **Technical and Project Management*** Coordinate the development of mechanical projects for **Low and Medium Voltage panels**, from proposal stage through release for manufacturing. * Ensure correct application of technical standards (IEC, ABNT, NR\-10, NR\-12, among others). * Validate mechanical solutions considering structural requirements, protection degree (IP), accessibility, and safety. * Provide technical support to sales and proposals teams, evaluating technical feasibility, costs, and timelines. **Team Leadership*** Lead, develop, and guide mechanical engineers and designers. * Define priorities, allocate tasks, and monitor performance, deadlines, and delivery quality. * Promote continuous technical upskilling and standardization of engineering best practices. **Multidisciplinary Integration*** Collaborate with electrical engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and suppliers. * Support the industrial team in implementing new products, customizations, and process improvements. * Participate in failure analyses, nonconformity investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives. **Standardization and Continuous Improvement*** Develop and maintain design standards, technical libraries, modules, and templates. * Support **Lean Engineering** initiatives, cost reduction, and project optimization. * Participate in digitalization and automation projects for engineering processes. (External) Brazilian Portuguese Qualifications: **Requirements** **Education*** Bachelor's degree in **Mechanical Engineering**. * Postgraduate degree or MBA in Project Management, Engineering, or People Management (preferred). **Experience*** Solid experience in **mechanical projects for LV and MV electrical panels**, or similar electromechanical equipment. * Prior experience in **technical coordination or leadership of engineering teams**. * Experience in an industrial environment, preferably Engineer-to-Order (ETO) production. **Technical Knowledge*** Applicable technical standards for electrical panels (IEC 61439, IEC 62271, ABNT, NR). * Knowledge of thermal analysis, ventilation, metallic materials, painting, and surface treatments. * Manufacturing processes: bending, welding, machining, and electromechanical assembly. **Languages** * **Advanced English** (External) Brazilian Portuguese Company Boiler Plate: **Looking to make an IMPACT with your career?** When considering joining a new team, culture matters.
