Job Summary: The professional will conduct nutritional diagnosis and follow-up, develop dietary prescriptions, implement food and nutrition education initiatives, and work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Collaborating integrally with a multidisciplinary team Responsibilities and Duties * Perform nutritional diagnosis and monitor users' nutritional status, calculating appropriate parameters for different life stages and specific conditions, with special attention to individuals with stomas; * Establish, implement, and execute technical service protocols according to levels of nutritional care and current legislation; * Develop dietary prescriptions based on nutritional diagnosis, considering interactions between drugs and nutrients, as well as among nutrients themselves; * Record dietary prescriptions and patients'/users' nutritional progress in medical records, in accordance with protocols defined by the Nutrition and Dietetics Unit (UND); * Identify individuals with specific nutritional needs and ensure appropriate referral and care; * Propose, develop, and implement food and nutrition education activities targeting users and staff, including promoting ecological and environmental awareness; * Implement, monitor, and supervise pre-preparation, preparation, distribution, and transportation of meals and/or preparations, including ADL training involving food handling and preparation; * Collaborate integrally with the multidisciplinary team, defining complementary procedures to dietary prescriptions when necessary. Requirements * Completed undergraduate degree in Nutrition; * Active registration with the Regional Nutrition Council (CRN) of Santa Catarina State; * Experience in individualized nutritional care and food and nutrition education initiatives; * Knowledge of applicable current legislation; * Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 1:15 PM or from 1:00 PM to 7:15 PM.
