The **Occupational Safety Technician** will focus on accident prevention and promoting a safe and legally compliant workplace, supporting site operations and ensuring adherence to Regulatory Standards (NRs), internal policies, and safety best practices.
**Main Responsibilities:**
* Conduct daily field activity monitoring, identifying hazards and guiding workers on preventive measures;
* Ensure compliance with Regulatory Standards applicable to the construction industry, with emphasis on NRs 01, 06, 07, 09, 10, 12, 18, 33, and 35;
* Perform safety inspections at work fronts, machinery, equipment, scaffolding, excavations, and hazardous areas;
* Guide and supervise the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Collective Protective Equipment (CPE), while managing their distribution and replacement;
* Conduct Daily Safety Dialogues (DSD) and support internal safety training programs;
* Support the preparation, updating, and management of legal documents such as Risk Analysis (APR), Work Permit (PT), Risk Management Program (PGR), Occupational Health Program (PCMSO), and inspection records;
* Investigate occupational accidents and incidents, preparing reports and proposing corrective and preventive actions;
* Support internal and external audits, as well as inspections conducted by competent authorities;
* Collaborate closely with engineers, site supervisors, foremen, and other departments within the company.
**Requirements:**
* Completed Technical Course in Occupational Safety, with active registration;
* Experience in the construction industry;
* Practical knowledge of applicable Regulatory Standards;
* Fieldwork capability, clear communication skills, and a proactive, preventive mindset;
* Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
* Availability to work on construction sites.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience in high-rise, industrial, or large-scale construction projects;
* Prior experience with audits or inspections conducted by the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE) or Fire Department;
* Additional training courses related to Regulatory Standards (e.g., NRs 10, 18, 33, 35, among others).
