Responsible for monitoring and analyzing accounting and financial data, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, as well as providing strategic information for decision-making. * Advanced skills in data analysis tools and accounting software. * Conduct detailed analyses of financial reports, identifying trends, variances, and areas of opportunity; * Generate financial performance reports for senior management, highlighting relevant insights; * Ensure accounting practices comply with applicable regulatory standards and legislation; * Collaborate with external auditors, providing required documentation and information. * Participate in budget preparation and financial forecasting; * Monitor and analyze deviations between budgeted and actual performance; * Implement and maintain effective internal controls to mitigate financial risks; * Identify and correct discrepancies in financial processes; * Work closely with Engineering, Operations, and People teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of financial activities related to mining engineering; * Propose and implement improvements to accounting and financial processes to increase efficiency and accuracy. **EDUCATION** * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Postgraduate studies in controller functions are desirable. **EXPERIENCE** * Minimum 1 year. * Solid knowledge of accounting and financial practices.
