Job Summary: Professional responsible for tax calculation, tax accounting, legislative updates, tax planning, and internal consulting. Key Highlights: 1. Tax calculation and monitoring for production and product dispatch 2. Continuous updates on tax legislation and application of regulations 3. Participation in tax planning and optimization of tax burden Main Responsibilities: * Monitor tax calculation due on production and dispatch of industrialized products, observing specific tax rates for each product type and input tax credit rules. * Perform tax accounting and monitor the submission of ancillary obligations handled by external accounting. * Verify and ensure tax books are up to date and compliant with legislation. * Stay updated on constant changes in federal, state, and municipal tax legislation, interpreting and applying new regulations to the industrial context. * Participate in the company’s tax planning, seeking lawful methods to optimize tax burden, leveraging tax incentives and special regimes applicable to the industrial sector (e.g., Innovation Law, regional benefits, etc.). * Provide internal consulting to other departments—such as procurement, sales, production, and logistics—on tax matters, ensuring optimal interpretation and application of legislation. * Prepare the company for potential tax audits by gathering requested documents and information from tax authorities and supporting the audit process.
