




Job Summary: A professional responsible for performing welding services, preparing materials and equipment, carrying out cutting and finishing tasks, and interpreting technical drawings—ensuring safety and quality of welds. Preference given to experience in welding stainless steel, aluminum, and in specific sectors. **Responsibilities:** * Perform MIG/MAG, TIG, or Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) as required by the project; * Prepare materials and equipment for welding; * Perform cutting, fitting, and finishing on metal parts; * Read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications; * Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations; * Conduct visual inspections and quality tests on welds. **Requirements:** * Completed elementary or high school education; * Welding certification (MIG/MAG, TIG, SMAW, etc.); * Proven experience in the role; * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings; * Knowledge of measurements and measuring instruments; * NR-35 and NR-33 certifications preferred (depending on work location). **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience welding stainless steel or aluminum; * Prior work experience in metallurgical, shipbuilding, or heavy construction industries; * Valid and up-to-date technical certifications.
