Our commitment is to ensure fair processes and an inclusive environment where talent and initiative are the true criteria for growth. **Job Title:** Senior Financial Analyst **Location:** Balneário Piçarras, SC – Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote) **Reports To:** Financial Coordinator As a **Senior Financial Analyst**, you will primarily be responsible for analyzing and granting credit to customers, assessing risk, defining limits, and supporting Credit Committee decisions. You will support delinquency monitoring, aging analysis, Provision for Doubtful Accounts (PCLD), and collection actions, ensuring risk mitigation and cash preservation. You will also support collections and accounting closing routines, ensuring quality, compliance, and accuracy of financial information. **Responsibilities** * Monitor accounting vs. finance support reports for monthly closing of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, and validate bank and investment account balances along with their respective accounting entries * Perform foreign exchange quotation and settlement for import and export transactions with banks * Analyze, issue opinions, and grant credit to customers according to established parameters or higher-level approval, as well as approve the daily order portfolio * Prepare supporting materials for periodic Credit Committee meetings for customers * Prepare cash flow forecasts, monitor daily payment approvals, track daily liquidity and allocation of available financial resources, and analyze variances between forecasted and actual results * Prepare and periodically publish direct cash flow forecasts * Monitor commercial budget execution * Support preparation of the Provision for Doubtful Accounts (PCLD) report and analyze variations in the provision compared to prior accounting periods * Analyze customer and accounts payable aging * Analyze the status of delinquent customers and execute joint actions with analysts and assistants to accelerate collection of outstanding amounts and associated accruals, and monitor third-party collection activities * Ensure adherence to internal policies and operational procedures * Execute tasks related to the Shared Services Center process * Serve as a reference for daily operations teams and provide leadership support through high-quality daily deliverables and accounting closings * Perform other related duties as requested by Leadership **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration * Relevant prior experience in credit analysis * Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency * Experience with DataSul * Knowledge of Power BI and Artificial Intelligence is desirable * English proficiency is a plus * Organized, communicative, and proactive profile Newell Brands (NASDAQ: NWL) is a leading global consumer goods company with a strong portfolio of well-known brands, including Rubbermaid, Sharpie, Graco, Coleman, Rubbermaid Commercial Products, Yankee Candle, Paper Mate, FoodSaver, Dymo, EXPO, Elmer’s, Oster, NUK, Spontex and Campingaz.
