Berneck is a Brazilian company specialized in manufacturing wood panels and derived products. With a focus on sustainability, the company operates in the civil construction and furniture sectors. **Responsibilities:** Conduct daily inspections at the company to identify, record, and rectify unsafe conditions in the workplace. Guide employees on compliance with safety regulations and the correct use of tools, machinery, and equipment. Verify the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by employees and advise on the risks associated with non-use. Identify hazards in work processes and propose improvements to prevent accidents. Maintain the fire protection system, including distribution and control of fire extinguishers, pump and alarm testing, and coordination of external inspections. Maintain constant interaction with the Internal Accident Prevention Committee (CIPA). Complete the Work Accident Communication Form (CAT) in case of accidents. Prepare or participate in preparing the risk inventory. Monitor implementation of the Risk Management Program (RMP) action plan. Issue work permits and supervise high-risk tasks, guiding employees to avoid accidents. Lead or support investigations into work-related accidents and occupational diseases per the RMP. Complete the Professional Occupational Profile (PPP), when required, compiling employee data. Assume technical responsibility for advising on compliance with applicable Regulatory Standards (NR) relevant to company activities. Previous experience as Occupational Safety Engineer, Occupational Safety Analyst, Occupational Safety Consultant, or Occupational Safety Supervisor may indicate alignment with some responsibilities of this position.
