Implement initiatives to reduce inventory costs **PROCUREMENT ANALYST/BUYER** Manage the company's procurement, logistics, and warehouse/inventory processes and teams; negotiate deadlines, quantities, and terms with suppliers and/or customers; prepare budgets; control payment scheduling. · Respond to internal and external procurement requests. · Identify material procurement needs. · Obtain timely price quotations to ensure prompt purchase and delivery. · Issue purchase authorizations. · Negotiate deadlines, quantities, and terms with suppliers and/or customers. · Source alternative products from suppliers for requesting departments. · Calculate accurate purchase quantities to prevent losses. · Maintain minimum inventory levels for high-turnover items to ensure quality and minimize losses. · Arrange proper disposal of solid and liquid waste generated by restaurant and snack bar production. · Conduct overall stock counts and monthly inventory audits. · Interface with suppliers. · Process product exchanges and returns for non-conforming items relative to purchase orders. · Implement initiatives aimed at reducing inventory costs. · Solicit quotations from new suppliers. · Monitor material receipt flow. · Monitor product dispatch flow. · Provide supporting data for supplier contract development. · Identify requirements for new equipment. · Prepare reports, forms, and Excel/system spreadsheets. · Contract suppliers for maintenance services on machinery and equipment.
