Production Assistant - FORGING

**JOB DESCRIPTION** We are seeking a committed, proactive professional with a strong desire for professional growth to work as a **Production Assistant** in our Forging department. The employee will be responsible for supporting operational activities in the production process, directly contributing to the manufacturing of high-quality, safe, and efficient forged parts, always adhering to company-established standards and procedures. Key Responsibilities Material Preparation * Assist in the sorting, organization, and preparation of raw materials used in the forging process; * Ensure materials are available and suitable for production. Machine and Equipment Operation * Support operation of machines and equipment in the forging area; * Correctly follow operational procedures and instructions from supervisors. Part Inspection * Perform visual inspections on produced parts; * Identify potential defects, irregularities, or non-conformities, immediately reporting them to the area supervisor. Organization and Maintenance * Assist in cleaning, preservation, and organization of the department; * Support basic preventive maintenance activities for equipment and tools. Workplace Safety * Strictly comply with company safety regulations; * Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE); * Contribute to a safe and organized working environment. Operational Support * Provide general support to production activities; * Collaborate as part of a team to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Requirements * High school diploma preferred; * Prior experience in industrial or metallurgical production preferred; * Basic knowledge of machine and equipment operation; * Ability to follow instructions and operational procedures; * Commitment to quality, organization, and safety; * Availability to work rotating shifts, if required; * Good communication skills and ability to work in a team; * Physical fitness compatible with tasks requiring moderate effort.
