




Description: You must have: * Completed technical education in Chemistry or related fields. * Laboratory analysis experience required. * Experience in metallurgical industry laboratories is a plus. * Basic Excel proficiency. * Availability to work afternoon or night shifts. * Analytical thinking. * Organizational skills. * Orientation toward precise procedures and established standards. * Teamwork. In this position, you will: * Collect, receive, and prepare samples of raw materials, inputs, in-process or finished products for laboratory testing, following procedures and safety measures. * Prepare solutions and reagents for analyses, strictly adhering to procedures and technical data sheets. * Ensure proper receipt and registration of these samples to maintain traceability and compliance with procedures and technical standards. * Perform physical and chemical analyses on samples of cast iron and steel, molding sands, water, effluents, and chemical solutions, following established procedures and preparing technical reports of results, releasing batches or identifying contamination and non-conformities. * Monitor and perform chemical and biological treatments on water in cooling systems and industrial effluent treatment systems. * Monitor the chemical concentration of painting baths to ensure proper surface pre-treatment of parts to be painted. * Maintain documentation and records of calibrations and measurements in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements. * Support the 5S Program within your department. * Perform other related tasks as necessary and/or requested by your immediate supervisor. 2512120202501916256
