Job Summary: Daterra Compounding Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for Compounding to assist in product preparation, inventory organization, and quality assurance under supervision. About the position: * **Compounding assistance:** Weigh ingredients, dilute active substances, compound formulations, encapsulate medications, prepare solutions, and perform other activities related to compounded product preparation, under supervision. * **Inventory organization:** Receive, inspect, store, and organize raw materials, packaging, and finished products, verifying expiration dates and storage conditions. * **Cleaning and organization:** Maintain a clean and organized workplace, following hygiene and biosafety procedures. * **Quality control:** Assist in verifying product quality, including quality control tests and monitoring of results. * **Documentation:** Record information regarding performed activities—such as weighing, preparations, and controls—in accordance with pharmacy procedures. * **Customer service:** May assist in customer service, clarifying questions about products and advising on correct usage. Skills and knowledge: * Organization and attention to detail. * Basic mathematical calculation skills. * Knowledge of hygiene and biosafety principles. * Ability to follow procedures and instructions. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Familiarity with good compounding practices. Requirements: * Completed high school education. * Technical course in pharmacy. * Prior experience in a compounding pharmacy is preferred.
