This professional will work with specific equipment and software to ensure operational efficiency, safety, and productivity, aligning with the company’s needs and objectives. We’re looking for automation enthusiasts eager to make a difference in challenging projects—**we want to meet you!** **Responsibilities and Duties** **These will be your responsibilities:** * Design, develop, and program automation systems using PLCs, SCADA, HMI, DCS, and other technologies; * Coordinate and execute the installation of automated systems, including hardware and software configuration, system integration, and validation testing; * Perform commissioning of developed software at field-installed plants, being responsible for commissioning and start-up of the developed system, including adjustments and revisions; * Prepare flowcharts, P&ID diagrams, I/O lists, and other relevant documentation for the automation field; * Knowledge of industrial networks, Ethernet, Profibus, DeviceNet, Profinet, and other protocols; * Travel to attend customers. **Requirements and Qualifications** **You must have:** * Completed undergraduate degree in Control and Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical high-school qualification with relevant experience; * Prior experience in industrial automation projects, PLC programming, SDCD, and control systems; * Knowledge of automation programming languages (e.g., Ladder Logic, Structured Text); * Familiarity with industrial automation software (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider Electric, ABB, Altus); * Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, P&ID diagrams, and technical schematics; * Critical analytical ability and capacity to solve complex technical problems; * Excellent communication skills, teamwork ability, and capacity to lead projects; * Proactivity and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies; * Knowledge of project documentation; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; * Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; · Readiness to work overtime when necessary. **In addition, you’ll stand out if you have:** * Fluency in Spanish and/or English. **Additional Information** **Benefits:** * **Uniodonto:** Fully company-funded dental plan; * **Life Insurance:** Full company coverage; * **Good Card:** Pharmacy partnership offering exclusive discounts at numerous stores.
