




Telecommunications Operations Manager Job Objective: Plan, coordinate, supervise, and manage the company’s technical and operational telecommunications activities, ensuring service availability, delivery quality, operational efficiency, SLA compliance, resource optimization, technical compliance, and customer satisfaction, while guaranteeing alignment among business strategy, operations, and results. Job Description | Primary Function: Responsible for the strategic and operational management of telecommunications technical and operational areas—including networks, field operations, installations, maintenance, infrastructure, technical support, operational processes, and performance indicator control—leading teams and ensuring sustainable and scalable performance. Key Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Operational and Infrastructure Management * Manage network, field, activation, maintenance, and technical support operations. * Ensure network and service availability, stability, and performance. * Coordinate operational routines and guarantee adherence to processes and standards. * Plan and monitor network expansions, improvements, and technical projects. 2. Operational Planning and Strategy * Develop operational plans aligned with the company’s strategy. * Plan operational capacity, technical resources, and logistics. * Implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices. * Participate in network and operations growth planning. 3. Team Management * Lead technical and operational teams, both direct and outsourced. * Assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and develop talent. * Ensure operational discipline, organization, and productivity. * Foster a collaborative, high-performance environment. 4. Quality, SLA, and Performance * Monitor and manage operational indicators (SLA, downtime, rework, productivity, MTTR, MTBF, incidents). * Implement continuous improvement initiatives and reduce failures. * Guarantee compliance with operational contracts and service-level agreements. * Address critical occurrences and significant incidents. 5. Governance, Processes, and Technical Compliance * Ensure compliance with technical, regulatory, and security standards. * Standardize operational procedures and technical documentation. * Ensure traceability, control, and organization of operational information. * Support internal and external audits. 6. Internal and External Stakeholder Relations: * Interface with Sales, Engineering, Support, Finance, and Executive Management. * Support strategic decision-making with technical and operational insights. * Interact with suppliers, partners, and, when necessary, strategic customers. Suggested Profile and Technical Requirements * Proven experience in operational management within the telecommunications, ISP, networking, or technology sector. * Knowledge of optical networks, infrastructure, FTTH, backbone, GPON, dedicated links, and related technologies. * Experience leading technical and operational teams. * Strong ability to manage processes, indicators, and outcomes. * Analytical, strategic, and solution-oriented profile. * Preferred: Degree in Telecommunications, Networking, Engineering, IT, or related fields.
