Job Summary: Manage and optimize maintenance activities to ensure equipment efficiency, reliability, and availability, while leading teams. Key Highlights: 1. Ensure efficiency, organization, and execution of maintenance activities, guaranteeing that preventive and predictive maintenance plans are carried out according to the established schedule, minimizing unplanned shutdowns and optimizing resource utilization—including labor, time, and materials. Monitor and analyze performance indicators, proposing improvements to enhance equipment reliability, availability, and efficiency, thereby supporting operational continuity and reducing operating costs. **Responsibilities and Duties** Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Define maintenance priorities and schedules, ensuring alignment with operational requirements. Ensure weekly scheduling is conducted, promoting coordination among process, operations, and maintenance departments. Develop shutdown and turnaround schedules, ensuring execution within deadlines and with minimal operational impact. Ensure preventive and predictive interventions identified by the reliability team are prioritized in the weekly schedule. Work Order and Service Request Management Monitor the opening, prioritization, and closure of work orders in the maintenance management system. Ensure accurate recording and updating of all information related to maintenance activities. Ensure planners conduct precise analyses using the GUT methodology (Gravity, Urgency, Trend) to determine priorities. Monitor the backlog of pending requests and the generation of emergency services, ensuring all involved teams understand the workflows. Data Analysis and Performance Track and analyze adherence to the weekly schedule, conducting meetings and defining action plans for necessary improvements. Evaluate the quality of planning deliverables, including resources specified in work orders. Analyze performance indicators (KPIs) to identify strategies and opportunities for improvement in maintenance activities. Monitor the time elapsed between planning and execution of work orders, aiming to reduce bottlenecks. Resource Planning Ensure planning and scheduling activities are performed according to established weekly timelines. Lead the development of scheduled shutdown and off-season turnaround schedules, identifying required resources and costs. Ensure proper organization of materials and resources in the maintenance workshop to support weekly scheduling execution. Schedule and manage resources such as cranes and aerial work platforms (AWPs), recording usage time per activity. Training and Development Train and develop the planning and scheduling team through continuous training and capacity-building initiatives focused on operational improvements. Team Management Lead and develop the PCM (Planning and Control of Maintenance) team, promoting integration across production, maintenance, procurement, reliability, and CPCM departments. Ensure operational and production teams fully understand planning, scheduling, and emergency demand workflows, guaranteeing operational efficiency. Innovation and Technology Implementation Identify and implement innovative technological solutions and processes to optimize maintenance activities. Foster a culture of innovation, seeking opportunities to increase productivity and reduce operating costs. Cost and Budget Management Prepare, manage, and optimize the department’s budget, prioritizing initiatives that improve efficiency and mitigate operational risks. Safety and Compliance Ensure all activities comply with occupational health, safety, and environmental standards. Monitor safety practices, ensuring equipment and processes meet regulatory requirements and plant standards. Other Responsibilities Perform job duties in full compliance with all occupational health, safety, and environmental rules and procedures, using mandatory PPE and reporting any identified risks to the immediate supervisor. Carry out duties in accordance with the company’s values, policies, guidelines, and procedures, maintaining confidentiality and protecting corporate information. Maintain discipline in the 5S program, ensuring workplace organization, cleanliness, and standardization. Safeguard company property under one’s responsibility, reporting any problems or damages detected to the immediate supervisor. **Requirements and Qualifications** Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
