Job Summary: Professional to monitor and optimize operational conditions of oil and gas wells, ensuring production efficiency and stability. Key Highlights: 1. Monitoring and optimization of producing and injecting wells 2. Analysis of production data and well performance 3. Development of intervention and well reactivation plans **Origem Energia** Our purpose is to contribute to Brazil's development through safe, innovative, and efficient energy integration. Here, we have no shortage of energy to pursue the best results—always placing safety first. At Origem, there are no “others’ problems”; we work united as one team and operate efficiently in everything we do, avoiding waste. We understand that only in this way can we continue growing, generating opportunities for all, and contributing to a secure transition of Brazil’s energy matrix toward a low-carbon economy. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform daily monitoring of operational conditions of producing and injecting wells, identifying deviations and optimization opportunities, where applicable. * Monitor production test results and individual well potential. * Perform nodal analysis of flowing, pneumatic, and pumped wells. * Monitor operational conditions of artificial lift methods. * Supervise activities related to opening and/or reactivating new wells, post-drill-stem-test wells, or wells undergoing optimization after specific interventions, aiming to ensure stable well operation. * Support technical planning and prioritization of field interventions. * Assist in developing intervention and well reactivation plans. * Perform calculations and provide recommendations for gas lift adjustments and calibrations of surface and downhole systems and valves. * Develop IPR (Inflow Performance Relationship) curves. * Consolidate daily production and water injection closure data, comparing production potential with actual production. * Evaluate daily production and injection balances to identify losses/gains. * Support production forecasting (oil, gas, and water), analyze well flow rates and pressures, and assess flowline and tankage system capacities. * Generate weekly production and injection reports, including production forecasts and classification of deviations and losses. Monitor operational indicators to identify required actions. * Support failure analysis and define actions to ensure operational continuity and maintain the production curve (within established operational windows). * Prepare Execution Procedures (PE) and Work Instructions (WI), subject to prior approval by the Production Engineering Coordination and Production Management. * Apply requirements for new resources and modifications to defined operational parameters, aiming to maintain the base production curve. * Monitor proposals for flowline construction options. * Support definition and updating of assumptions for operational activity routines to ensure operations within established operational windows (e.g., pig runs) and for each well according to its specific characteristics (e.g., slickline, testing, rod pumping). * Validate well tests. * Assist in diagnosing and classifying well deviations. * Monitor operational indicators to identify required actions. * Validate well closures outside the scope of the Water Management WI and the list of wells designated for emergency attention. * Support failure analysis and define actions to be taken using tested and available resources to ensure operational continuity and maintenance of the base production curve, fully aligned with established operational windows. \#LI\-CN1 **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related fields. A postgraduate degree or MBA in related areas will be considered an advantage. * 7–10 years of experience in oil and gas production operations, preferably onshore. * Experience in analyzing oil and gas well production and performance data. * Proficiency in well simulation and analysis software such as PIPESIM, WELLFLO, or similar is desirable. * Knowledge and proficiency in dynamometer card and fluid level monitoring software such as TAM, TWM, or similar. * Knowledge of daily gas, oil, and water production balance analysis and determination. * Competence in monitoring and analyzing daily production and well production tests. * Knowledge of artificial lift methods such as BCP, BCS, BM, and Gas Lift. * Experience developing IPR (Inflow Performance Relationship) curves. * Ability to identify problems and propose appropriate technical solutions. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills to document and recommend operational changes. * Experience preparing technical reports. * Willingness to travel. * Willingness to reside in the state of Alagoas. * Intermediate/advanced English proficiency. * Advanced Microsoft Office suite proficiency. * Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI. **Additional Information** **Employment Type and Schedule: CLT — Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM / Friday: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM** Benefits offered: * Health insurance for employee and dependents; * Dental insurance for employee and dependents; * Life insurance; * Company-provided transportation; * On-site meals; * Meal allowance; * Variable compensation program (PLR); We are among the leading independent companies operating onshore in Brazil. Our greatest differentiator is producing energy from natural gas—a more stable and cleaner energy source. Thus, we actively participate in expanding and transforming Brazil’s energy matrix toward a low-carbon economy. We are driven by our **purpose** of contributing to national development through safe, innovative, and efficient **energy integration**, prioritizing responsible execution of strategies and projects to promote more balanced development across the **regions where we operate**. **Our origin is feminine**, embracing diverse nationalities and cultures. We are committed to diversity and plurality. We take pride in our energetic, bold, entrepreneurial, innovative journey—constantly seeking opportunities. Together, we will support the secure transition of Brazil’s energy matrix. The Origem team counts on your energy.
