Inventory control and restocking The Store Operator is on the front line of customer service and operational efficiency, including product control, cleaning, and organization. * Customer service and support; * Checking shelves and noting stockouts for restocking; * Requesting merchandise from inventory for restocking; * Restocking merchandise according to restocking procedures; * Adhering to procedures for handling damaged or broken merchandise; * Recording and forwarding products to the purchasing department; * Sorting damaged items for supplier exchange; * Monitoring product expiration dates; * Pricing products on shelves; * Tracking products designated for exchange; * Responsible for ensuring organization and sanitation of the work area; * Performing other tasks related to those described above, as required by service needs and/or upon supervisor’s request.
