Responsible for method validation, equipment calibration, and interpretation of results, ensuring reliability and traceability of analyses. Manage documents, records, and laboratory performance indicators, as well as control inventory and carry out purchasing processes. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, good laboratory practices, and participate in audits. Contribute to the technical development of the team and propose improvements in sector processes. **Responsibilities and duties** * Perform physicochemical analyses on waste received at the facility, and on waste samples for commercial proposal preparation; * Prepare solutions for procedural analyses; * Perform analytical method validation when necessary; * Conduct internal equipment calibrations; * Ensure sample and analytical result traceability; * Interpret and evaluate analytical results of waste, identifying possible deviations and non-conformities; * Analyze laboratory performance indicators, proposing improvement actions when necessary; * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and good laboratory practices; * Update department records; * Fill out and monitor control spreadsheets; * Prepare reports, procedures, and work instructions; * Perform photographic documentation; * Manage material inventory; * Carry out laboratory purchasing processes, including issuing requests, tracking, and verifying materials; * Support technical visits and audits by providing necessary information and documentation; * Report monthly controlled product information to the responsible department; * Manage laboratory waste; * Implement and monitor analytical quality controls; * Assist in training new department employees; * Conduct training related to waste collection/sampling performed by employees from other facility departments; * Collect effluents from tank trucks, as well as other waste from other sectors if requested; * Monitor SDS (Safety Data Sheets) of chemicals used in the laboratory; * Ensure organization, cleanliness, and maintenance of equipment and the work environment. **Requirements and qualifications** Technical Education – Technical course in chemistry, degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, environmental or sanitary engineering ### **Ready to renew the world?** **Hello, nice to meet you!** We are from the Veolia Group, a global leader and reference in environmental solutions.
