




Job Summary: A nursing professional responsible for providing direct patient care, organizing the unit, communicating with the team and family members, and complying with hospital regulations. Key Highlights: 1. Provide direct nursing care and support to patients. 2. Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth unit operations. 3. Maintain organization and cleanliness to guarantee high-quality care. I. Become familiar with service progress and patients' conditions through shift handover; II. Receive patients admitted to the unit and orient them regarding Hospital Regulations; III. Perform delegated nursing care tasks; IV. Record provided care, medications, treatments administered, signs and symptoms clearly and objectively in the patient's medical record immediately after execution, especially the actions taken; V. Assist other members of the unit team whenever requested, within one's scope of competence; VI. Report observed changes in patients' general condition to the nurse; VII. Orient and guide family members during visiting hours; VIII. Cooperate with other departments to improve unit operations and patient care; IX. Notify the shift supervisor when needing to leave the unit; X. Forecast and manage supplies, equipment, linens, and medications to ensure high-quality care and unit organization; XI. Check the functionality of the unit's facilities and report any necessary repairs to the responsible department; XII. Respond to patient requests; XIII. Maintain records to facilitate unit controls and statistics; XIV. Attend scheduled meetings and training sessions; XV. Perform related duties within one's competence, as stipulated by Law No. 7498/Decree No. 94.406 regulating this law and Rio Grande do Sul Decision No. 103/00; XVI. Maintain strict ethical-professional conduct; XVII. Provide nursing care to critically ill patients under the supervision of a nurse, documenting and reporting any changes; XVIII. Help maintain order, discipline, and cleanliness in the unit; XIX. Implement the Systematization of Nursing Care, as well as the Hospital Bylaws and Regulations.
